The Clambake soundtrack, first released in October 1967, may not have represented a significant improvement over its immediate predecessors; however, the bonus tracks more than made up for this. The songs “Guitar Man,” “Just Call Me Lonesome,” “Big Boss Man,” and “You Don’t Know Me” — recorded during the Nashville sessions in September — were the album’s undisputed highlights, alongside “The Girl I Never Loved” and “How Can You Lose What You Never Had.”
This unique, limited FTD edition is based on the original UK release and features the classic Red Dot RCA Victor label. The double album includes the original soundtrack masters, studio outtakes, and bonus tracks.
